Yah india is another notable but the odds they’d ever actually help America in any way that didn’t benifit them is real low, India likes to stay neutral.
My unsupported theory as to what might be going on here with Vietnam, India, and Philippines, is that people consider the USA as a nice migration destination.
There are large asian migrant communities in the US, probably most people in those three countries would have a direct contact or even relative who lives in the US. They would see pictures of them and hear about life in the US and perceive it to be better than their own.
Most people here reading this question think about politics, but plenty of people living in the Philippines unable to buy fuel or gas due to shortages, who would still think “favourably” of the US.
Vietnam is on position 4 (consider they were at war 55 years ago), where as most of NATO is at the bottom, even below Russia.
vietnam is pretty friendly of the usa, against china and mostly because of trade and manufactering.

No it’s because all those countries neighbour china. Being next to china sucks.
