Sounds like Sound Transit knows a solution to the excessive noise. I’m curious why they haven’t installed lubrication equipment and other mitigation measures here? Maybe there’s plans to, but it hasn’t been finalized?
Because the people whining own $6 million lake front homes and are likely just spoiled rotten instead of having a real issue. Even their own decibel readings are directly under the bridge, not from inside the homes. To “fix” the issue, they want to slow the trains down for 6 hrs/day, including during the morning rush hour, which will effect 10 of thousands of people daily.
Its just very rich people being mad about having “the poors” anywhere near their homes. Its why places like mercer island fought bus depots, public housing and the light rail for years. They dont want other people using public space that they feel like they deserve to themselves.
