    Honestly pretty surprised at how much of the vibe carries into the movies. I know that’s the point of concept art but it’s still impressive.

      These are finalized pieces so they are basically blueprints for the movie. There’s a book called Star Wars Art - there’s a ton more of drawings he did at various stages.

    As a kid in the 70s, I owned a copy of the Art of Star Wars which had many of these within its pages. Sadly the binding wasn’t as awesome as the glossy pages and couldn’t endure me pouring over the concept art for all those years. Thanks for sharing!

      the Rinzler books go in-depth how these concept drawing transformed into movies and it is one of the best books on creative process.
