they can do more damage by “brain drain” moving to another country that is currently accepting phd and doctors, long term it hurts the US alot more both politically and ecomically. i think running for office is fruitless at this point. right now the US is hostile to intellectuals trying to get a jobs in already limited market for scientists.

targeting intellectuals is pretty much the first sign of total control by facsists of the government and public opinion. thats why a bunch of them fled early last year.,
Then you won’t get the best scientists. Job security is important for people who like living indoors.
That’s the idea.
They want people pointing to the lack of evidence for climate change from 2027 onward. You know, because they’re in the process of destroying evidence.
