I don’t mind admitting that I just don’t get it. To me, people are struggling and cutting costs as it is. How does this help reduce inflation? If people are spending too much it’s because things cost too much and they have little choice, like with insurance premiums and groceries. Surely if prices are rising too fast it’s because some of our biggest companies (looking at you Coles/Woolies and insurance companies) are charging too much? Like I said, I don’t get it.
