Violet approaches Charlie Brown sitting in the field on a plank, eating. She says, “You eat too much candy, Charlie Brown!”
He turns away and she continues, “Before you know it, all your teeth will start to decay…then they’ll ache and pain all night long…”
He shudders as she continues, “Then one day your teeth will start to fall out…plink, plink, plink! Then…”
She watches as he runs off yelling “YAAH!” and dropping the bag.

You have to think like a boomer. “Ha, yep, that’ll get kids to finally stop wrecking their teeth!”
As with many of these old comics, what is the actual joke?
