    Question for the Americans:

    spoilers

Are alumni likely to attend a homecoming? We didn’t do “homecomings” where I grew up, but I can’t imagine any graduated adult wanting to go back to high school for a school dance.

Homecoming is way more than a “school dance”. We have entire tailgating parties before the homecoming football game. There’s literally a parade. I was on my High School’s football team over 30 years ago, and I go to the homecoming game most years to cheer on the team, enjoy a ton of good BBQ, and get sloppy drunk at the same stadium where I used to play. It’s one Hell of a good time. The dance is like 10% of the event.
