Framework will charge you extra if you choose to configure the laptop with Windows, while Ubuntu comes free, thanks to being open-source.

    Is anyone surprised?

    Even if I wanted Windows on it, why would I pay them for it when I have a license or the MS licensing scripts?

    Though I would bet nearly all are used as Linux machines, given the market segment.
