What do Hungarians refer to the guy as, since I imagine Magyar isn’t very descriptive to them.
Hungarian apparently uses Eastern name order, so they would refer to him as Magyar Péter. Nearly all headlines mentioning him in Hungarian use both his last and first name, though there seem to be instances where they only use his last name.
When they say “about Peter Magyar”, it becomes “Magyar Péterről”.
Makes sense. Context likely has to play really well to only use his last name since it’s the most common and literally means Hungarian.
