      That’s actually quite normal. Fascists often get along at first because of shared values and maybe similar personalities.

      This all falls apart because every dictator puts his own interests before anyone else. Sooner or later those interests clash.

        Toxic personalities are also toxic to one another, but they’ll tolerate each other as long as they need to. When one feel like they’ll be just fine without the other, they’ll dump former friends in a heartbeat.

      Meloni is literally a Fascist. But one who just lost a power-grab judicial “reform” referendum, so she’s had to make a tactical retreat from some steps in the usual fasc playbook.
