This series of posts is just pointing out things I’ve never noticed on any previous watch through. Case in point: I’ve seen this scene many times and always took it as Garak being like “It’s dangerous to go alone. Take this.”. Finally dawned on me this time around that he was just getting rid of evidence.

Since you are obviously a being of culture, let me recommend ‘A stitch in time’ if you haven’t read it.
It was written and read (as audiobook) by Andrew Robinson, the man who played Garak.
The audiobook especially is wonderful if you are a Garak aficionado.
I bought it (ebook) and read it last year. It was my gateway drug into the TrekLit universe :)
I have not read many other Trek books, any I should get my hands on?
I did a post a while back asking for recommendations, so I’ll link that since there’s some good ones: https://startrek.website/post/28030285
My favorites of what I’ve read so far:
I’ve read 4 out of the 5 Star Trek: Picard tie-in novels, and they’re all excellent (though the Riker one is the weakest but not bad).
Afterbefore PIC S1, features Riker and the Titan.Honorable Mentions:
