      Compare the production value. TV shows now have the same production value as a film. They didn’t used to.

      They do that shit on purpose because they think (and their not totally wrong) that people will keep paying for their subscriptions and wait. Where shows that air on tv we didn’t pay. We just watched ads. But fucking done with this bullshit get your shows out in a reasonable time or I say fuck it.

      There way to many completed shows I can watch don’t have to waste my time for these new shows.

    I am big fan of the Alien franchise (I’ve even read a few of the novels), but I did not enjoy Alien: Earth at all. It felt more like a generic streaming action-sci-fi with Alien motifs.

    I think I gave up on episode 2, but I did try and watch the standalone episode (5?), I turned it off after 10 minutes, it had no tension or atmosphere.
