The CIA is working to arm Kurdish forces with the aim of fomenting a popular uprising in Iran and the Trump administration has been in active discussions with Iranian opposition groups and Kurdish leaders in Iraq about providing them with military support, multiple people familiar with the talks told CNN.

      I mean, this was kind of a given. Top secret or not, in the news or not, the US arming the Kurds was absolutely going to happen. People have been predicting this since the whole thing kicked off. We know Israel and the US want an uprising, and want to pick the “winner”.

    I don’t think the Kurds are too interested in taking over Iran. As far as I know they just want to be independent.
