Not in Portland, but when I was at my university there would be a big flock of crows that would perch in a tree above the bicycle racks where I parked my bike. Each morning I would walk up to my bike covered in bird shit. I found out I could shine this bright laser pointer on the tree and the whole murder would fly up and off over to another part of campus. It started to become a part of my bedtime routine haha
