I love the P-in-P mode for the mobile app as it’s very useful to multitask. However, I’ve been having an issue that if I move the P-in-P screen around even a little too quickly it’ll just close VLC completely. It’s easy enough to hit the Restart Last Play button upon reopening the app, but it’s not ideal.

I’m using the official VLC app for Android OS on a Pixel 8 Pro. Is anyone able to tell me if this is a problem with my phone, the OS, the app, versus my settings? Or is this just too niche of a problem that it’s unreasonable to expect a FOSS product to cater to? Huge fan, just curious.
