Yes, it’s the Mormon dude. I know, I know.
But I was recommended this by a communist friend in PSL who said I needed it and highly recommended it and said that, according to contacts he knew, he’s… err, had misgivings about the faith (not sure if I should say it here).
I’m going to start these now and see if I find them useful. Wish me luck. Just need the advice, is all.
Sanderson is probably my favourite modern fantasy writer. He’s a good dude, and his religion really doesn’t come into his books as far as I can tell.
I plan to delve into his books again.
I stopped after, I think, Book 3 of the Stormlight Archive series, but in the end, I really should get back to reading at least some of his work.
Highly recommend you read the other Cosmere books before Stormlight 4. At the very least Warbreaker and Mistborn. You can enjoy it without them, but having knowledge from those books really puts Stormlight on another level.
I already did that. That’s basically where I stopped.
OH! You mean the supplementary material?
That too. Particularly the 2 novels for Stormlight and Secret History for Mistborn. Lots of things going on in the background of Stormlight 4 that relate to those novels.
Noice.
I’ll look into them.
