I find it hard to believe the person saying blue sky has porn ads. Isn’t it for the media types mostly anyways?

Does Twitter mute porn ads on the app? Never had a Twitter, but I thought one of apple’s biggest rules is that you couldn’t show butts and weenies on app store apps because it doesn’t align with their puritanical consumerist future vision.

So i have a facebook account that I can’t quite remember making. I follow no one, I “like” nobody’s posts/comments, I only do one thing with it.

Every few weeks (maybe a month or longer if I’ve found something else to do) I’ll log in and scroll down the “suggested” friends and posts.

Over the years it went from actually showing me people who I had worked with or were at least from the same state to totally random people with pfp’s that look like their from latinx or Indian people. The random suggested posts get really weird sometimes. There was a solid month were the feed was filled with pics of a person, almost always a young woman, almost always in a skimpy two piece swimsuit with (I’m assuming this is the photoshopped part) arms and legs missing (or fake legs added in) with some text like “nobody blessed me today/on my birthday” and one of the hashtags would be #photoshopped.

Its an abyss out there people, gotta stop staring into it.

it’s amazing how bad the bot problem has become. the revenue sharing for blue checks has made it even worse, and it doesn’t help that its impossible to distinguish between baby brained blue checks and chatgpt anyways

To be fair a place where people who pay to use Twitter congregate is the best place to find the perfect gullible marks for ads like this.
