Is it possible to set the local button to show another instance?

Ideally when signed in but I’d also be happy to swap to a guest/anonymous account.

It saves having to make many instance logins. And I think it’s voyager that allows this.

Good work and cheers

I had the same issue. So far, the only solution I found was to create a separate account on each instance I want to follow.

It’s not ideal, but it works.

No, because that one isn’t local. You could switch to another account for that one’s local instance, though.

I understand that. But boost has picked something for the accounts when not signed in. I think it’s lemmy.world. There could be an option to change that - like in voyager.

It’s then only a small step to implement what the local (or a new button) does. Showing you the local feed for an instance of your choosing.

I would like this feature as well. I’m finding it very difficult to navigate to other instances communities as there’s no way I can find to browse to them, nor search for them. the only way I can seem to locate them is by accidentally coming across a community in my feed.
