Just for comparisons sake, the US civil war had more Americans servicemembers killed than every other major US war, COMBINED.
And that number was nearly a quarter million LESS than the Russians have lost in Ukraine
But for further context, the USSR lost nearly 30 times this number in WW2 alone.
They got meat to spare and as long as that meat doesn’t resist, it won’t end
“that meat doesn’t resist” is a great summation of Russian history
950K this far. We might get 1M before Christmas. Would be fucking funny.
I’m willing to spot Ukraine the 50k
That has always been Russia’s ace in the hole, is just throwing all and any lives of its population when it comes to war. That and the harsh winters, should anyone foolish enough try to invade during that period.
Are there any original soldiers still alive in that meat grinder?
It’s pretty unlikely that anyone who started out in 2022 is still alive, at least from the lower ranks.
