I can assure you, as a former school aged boy, if there was even a hint of pornography anywhere in the library, I would have spent a LOT more time in there.

The closest my school library got was a medical book which had some anatomical drawings of naked people. But boy were they exciting in a time before the internet

Yellow snoo probably thinks that two men holding hands is porn

These people are so sick in the head that they can’t look at a LGBT+ person without thinking filthy thoughts

It’s so disgusting how gay they are and how they identify differently than their birth gender. I should probably research them some more 3-4 more times today or until I run out of tissues…

      two men holding hands

The horror! 😭 The thought alone made three kids in my neighborhood gay and two others are crossdressing right now!

Sometimes I wonder if they imagine every couple shagging or only the gay ones. Seems a little odd to me, are they envious?

There was a comment that summed it up rather nicely but can’t remember where it was. The gist was that conservatives view anything other than heterosexuality as deviant and associate sexuality with sexual fornication.

They don’t understand or even comprehend that they aren’t the same thing. So for them, simply saying the word lesbian is pornography because they can’t see it as two women in a relationship like they can with heterosexual relationships.

Also, the whole “out groups” and “in groups” thing.

Towards the beginning of the current school year, I was standing in my child’s classroom with other parents on a “meet the teacher” night, when she showed everyone her cabinet of “challenging” books — those with LGBTQ2S+ themes and books on very basic (and age appropriate) sexuality. Parents had the option to opt-out permitting their kids from reading books from that cabinet.

I think that’s a fairly reasonable way of handling such books in the classroom — but at the time as the parent standing closest to the cabinet my first thought was to say (out loud for all the other parents to hear) “Ooh, they have Hustler for Tweens now!”.

Sadly, better judgement took hold and I kept my mouth shut. Certain local weirdos who can’t seem to stop thinking about what other adults do with their sexy bits in private were fairly riled up at that time, and I decided it was better to keep the teacher from having to defend herself from them were any int he room with us.
