    I do not think this is a US soldier. The shovel, in particular leads me to think this is a Brit.

      The e-tool he’s wearing is an M1910. His camo looks like the paratrooper camo.

      This dude is american imho.

        I guess it was the camouflage + tool that made me think otherwise, but I could be wrong there.

          Almost no one wore camo in the european theater so i was confused too. Then i went looking for the pattern and it appears similar to the one used by paratroopers on their parachute. Perhaps this GI made an oversuit with his parachute instead of abandoning it? Not really sure.

      Watch Black Hawk Down and then at the check pics of those guys IRL. Just don’t watch behind the scenes stuff and hear everyone’s British accents. 🫨

      Love how one of the badass operators in Sicario was based on a real guy.
