    Is it a coincidence that they have the two winningest militaries in modern history? (If I remember correctly)

      Get invaded by Paraguay; lose every battle; see the army die so fast that you can tell a date where you won’t have any; make a hush, last minute renovation on the arm and basically recruit a new one; …; victory!?

      I guess it’s the ancient Rome path to victory, but I’m not sure how to classify it. (But well, the original army was mostly owned by slave owners, so maybe losing it was the real victory.)
