So ahead of the loyalty pledge ceremony to Trump, support aircraft are heading to the Middle East. Either a war with Iran or the end of Gaza is nigh.

    At first, I couldn’t imagine that Trump cares enough to get us I into a war. But another thread got me thinking about this. If the US was embroiled in a war, the government would have context to start debating anything who doesn’t support it to he actual traitors and execute them.

    I hope that’s not what this is, but that would be a typical Trump play. Jump into a whole-ass war that he gives not one fuck about, killing soldiers and foreign civilians, just because in times of conflict a President is given even greater authority and power because of the need for strong, decisive leadership.

    Hopefully I’m just being cynical.

      Trump was very interested in the fact that Ukraine wasn’t holding elections because of the war, and because of that Zelensky was still president.

    Somehow the amount of terrifying options here are through the roof. Not sure why but I find Gaza or Iran the least terrifying outcomes…
