Ngl, I didn’t expect actual interesting stuff so soon after the copper golems, and other bits lol. I feel like there’s usually like a 1.5 year gap between significant changes, but im kinda excited for the stuff they announced

Mojang has been moving hell and high water to redo almost the entirety of Minecraft Java to make moding support easier, and to improve stability.

Additionally, just because modders can do something in a few hours doesn’t mean Mojang didn’t put a ton of design work and playtesting into that feature.

I will judge again when we see actual technical changelogs, I don’t really like the modders do it quicker argument It just takes time testing features and making them properly in a game studio, but again it’s not really much a different new mechanic sure there is the spear, but that’s it, I liked the copper age update keep doing that it’s not much, but it’s noticeable features

      For free.

How many other games give you as much free “DLC” at Minecraft, year after year? And the game was lower cost to begin with.

If this was any other game, every one of these updates would be $10 and/or the whole platform would have gone to an annual subscription a long time ago
