I mean, the answer’s probably just that they make for fun enemies in a video game, but still

The game’s not trying to be a 100% serious Western simulator but it’s still kind of an extreme and schlocky concept that sticks out next to Wild West outlaws and Confederate holdout militias. One moment you’re hunting for deer and the next you stumble onto a butchered human corpse roasting over a fire and severed heads on spikes and you feel like you suddenly teleported into an entirely different game. It’s just funny to me that they put three cannibal Mad Max gangs in their cowboy game
