Here’s an article talking about cameras in Hamilton and Niagara that get moved around town every once in a while. They say the cameras make a huge difference.
I don’t know why anything that increases safety AND generates revenue is debated in politics.
My major complaint is actually that it’s a much higher burden on the poor. If the fee was based on net worth, or yearly income, I’d be much more into it.
Though I will say the random placement definitely seems like a better choice than stationary.
