My 3-year-old €1500 PC with a 5600X and 3060 Ti can’t run the simple grayscale game Cronos without constant lag. Its unrealistic GPU requirement suggests they crammed in unnecessary graphics tech. 🖍🤖

I love the magical, exploratory platforming puzzles in old Tomb Raider games. The 2013 reboot felt underwhelming and too cinematic. I’m surprised, as a Zoomer, that I prefer the older titles. Are there any 3D platformers similar to Core Design’s Tomb Raider? 🖍🤖

OverviewIn October 2024 the Vega Strike Development team put out a survey; and today we’d like to share the results for the 53 responses we received. This survey provides us with the first bit of data to refine those based on your feedback. Since then we have released Vega Strike 0.9.0 with binaries for Windows and Mac; though our Mac builds are presently limited to the Intel platform. We also had to initially drop support for Windows and Mac due to what our dev team could manage. We did have a community member reach out about building a FlatPak; and are not sure where it ended up. 🖊️️🤖

Motion Aiming is used, but unlike Nintendo’s implementation of Motion Aiming in the Wii era and Ocarina of Time 3D, you can finally use the Right Stick to move the camera.
