Hello guys I currently have a 55-inch TV as my monitor I think it’s worth around $500 1080p 60hz nothing crazy, I need a good monitor with 120hz at least and preferably 1440p and OLED, would like it to be bigger than 30 inches but may have to compromise on the size if I want a good one
I use a 42 inch LG C2 and I’m super happy with it. 4k, 120hz, OLED, HDR, and VRR. I got it on sale for $900 right when the C3’s were released.
I have a Samsung Odyssey 27in. It’s a little smaller than you want, but I believe(?) that they make a bigger one. I don’t have any other OLED to compare it to but I think it’s pretty good
G5 or G6, I looked at the G5 it looks like the perfect option for me, thank you
I have the g6. The g5 seems to not be an OLED
Doesn’t g5 use a slow VA panel?
Edit: Now that I’m looking at it, there are different G5s and G6s that use different panels.
I wouldn’t go for higher than 27" with 1440p because of PPI. You may want to look into 4k or UW 1440p monitors for a higher diagonal.
Titan Army recently launched their G27W8S, which is a 350$ 26.5" OLED monitor.
I have a 1440p 1152 zone MiniLED IPS of theirs and it’s honestly really good. My only complaints are nitpicks, which can be ignored considering it was like 200-250$.
