Gotta be a shitpost, with libs recently finding Bin Laden’s “Letter to America”, turning a full 180, and going “I’m so shocked that Arabs can form a coherent thought that maybe he was right”
I don’t think I can agree with the TikTok trend of “sympathizing” with Bin Laden at all. His actions didn’t de legitimize Western hegemony. In contrast, it gave the US an excuse the expand its hegemony. It also did not weaken the US. And it painted the Islamic community in a bad light, making them a target of racism.

Wdym? They sparked detrimental forever wars that sped up the US empire’s decline. Obviously they are ideological reactionaries, but you gotta respect some of their work even partially as a joke. https://www.theonion.com/fbi-uncovers-al-qaeda-plot-to-just-sit-back-and-enjoy-c-1819576375

Wait, people just now read it? David Cross even referenced it in a routine?
Yeah, it got pretty big on tiktok recently, and then twitter blew it up even more.
