While I totally get there is a lot of conservative Christianity deservedly driving the narrative for this meme. There are some modern religious composers putting out great music, and respectful/celebratory of people with LGBTQ identities.

My current favorite is the Unitarian Universalist musician/composer Lea Morris. Some of her songs:

Edit: the live music program at UU congregation is one of the main reasons I keep going. We hired guest lead vocalists who were trans for trans day of visibility this year, it was a moving experience to perform with them.
