I have 2 light switches, bought in 2019 so out of warranty, and they both just randomly stopped working at the same time and won’t respond to resets, deleting and adding back, or anything. The most I’ve been able to get is one of them to turn lights on and that’s it. When you press a button it registers in the App (under accessories) what button was pressed and what time it was pressed, but it doesn’t change anything.

Later I also found the lights controlled by those switches (2 rooms that each have a group of 3 bulbs) no longer respond to Google Home voice requests and can’t be controlled as a group in the GH app…only individually. But they respond find as a group or individually in the Hue App.

Anyone ran into this before? Hue support was no help.

I’ve had a hue signe table lamp since mid 2020 and it’s one of the purchases I most regret.

In my instance, because I don’t have a bridge (wasn’t required back then) my hue lamp will only respond when it’s in Bluetooth range of my phone or a Google hub (minis don’t work in my experience).

I don’t know a lot about the switches, but I suspect you might have a similar problem if you don’t own a bridge.

I think you have to associate it with the lights again in the app. The google integration problem seem like something a little different.

I did that, I completely deleted it and added it back. I’m wondering if there’s not a Hue issue though, I noticed no room or zones will change anymore except through the Hue app. I used to be able to tell Google to shut off a whole room or zone and it would, now Google says it’s doing it…but nothing changes. However, if I tell it to turn on/off a specific light in the room…it does and it works.
