I just browsed the feed for 20 mins after a month off being sober and don’t miss the disguised instagram feed at all - short videos, meme comments, no old forum experience whatsoever. But thankfully we have that on Lemmy now, so Lemmy try that :)

    2. ‘unnecessarily professional’? What’s that; spelling all the words like an adult and avoiding clique-signally kid-pidgin when writing to people I don’t know personally and pretending I want to treat them as also adults?
    3. deferring to experts
    4. bulleted lis-- oh crap

    Am I gonna be flagged as a bot every time I write as if the reader’s an adult?
