      Thanks for sharing I had no idea how harmful vinyl is. Various sources say it is safe to handle but the manufacturing, recycling and distribution is a nightmare.

      I like how my collection is 90% second hand and won’t be getting rid of them anytime soon, but it’s an eye opener for sure!

      Vinyl are completely different masters than the digital versions. Dude is wrong right off the bat

        I’m sure there isn’t one specific way things are always done.

            Counterpoint - we’re all going to die. There’s no good reason to feel guilt or shame for filling our lives with things that enrich our short time on this rock.

            Almost anything we choose to do that is fun or interesting shortens our lifespan. So does worry, and boredom.

            People who want to min-max and optimize their life and health, I guess, why not. But that’s not the only way to live a meaningful life.
