Experience shows that they will fight even the center-left. It was the suppression of the Sanders movement that got MAGA in the White House the first time, through direct suppression of Sanders and indirectly through the pied piper strategy. And despite that loss, they suppressed Sanders again in 2020. And in 2024, the DNC undemocratically cancelled the primary election and put Harris on the general election ballot by fiat.
