I (naively) thought that the affect of the tariffs would sour some folks on Donald. But now I’m seeing this new narrative that Trump is tanking the economy on purpose to lower interest rates in order to more easily pay off the national debt. People telling me I know nothing about economics if I don’t think a recession is a good thing. He literally can do NO wrong in their eyes and it’s disturbing

That’s been my experience at work as well. He could literally have their loved ones killed and they would shrug and either claim it didn’t happen or it was “fake news”.
They would find them retroactively guilty for some crime that in their mind warrants death.
Naw, he sent them to heaven early as a thank you for their support!
