Glad to have you here! I always love hearing from people that have never seen it. The “humor” is absolutely a bit much. I don’t know if it had anything to do with the time or culture, or if Toriyama was just a huge perv. I do my best to ignore it. By the time Z comes around it is as bad unless I blocked some shit out.

Speaking of Z, you may not like the pacing of it. It gets padded a LOT. There is Kai which addresses this issue a bit

I love Toriyama’s world and his lack of care for the details. Sometimes he just retcons shit, seemingly with out reason. I don’t love that part as much, but I love Super and how he just gave us a lot of fan service for the sake of it

Overall the Dragon Ball franchise is one of my favorite things in the world, and I am so happy to be able to share the enjoyment of it with all of you
