Classic American answer. We should probably remind them that they’re not part of the British crown thanks to us. And the Soviets had a bigger role than them in freeing Europe from the Nazis.
Also, every member of the GOP would have side with Nazi Germany if they were arrive back then.
To which they hopefully replied: “And we saved you during your revolution so shut up yourself”.
“You should be glad you’re not speaking German” should’ve been met with “And you should be glad you’re not speaking with a British accent.”
