Lol nothing says we are afraid of the working class like banning subreddits on suppressed news they don’t want us to see. I came here bc I got a warning on my account for liking a comment that said “Luigi”. My alt account got banned for sharing the DOGE email list that is public info. Fuck Reddit. I’m done.

Crazy, ironically, I wouldn’t consider most dem politicians liberals. They’re just not as far right as Republicans.

I was replying to a comment about how a lot of Leftist subs have been taken over by tankies. I was mentioning the growing accelerationist rhetoric among those same tankies. They don’t want to hear anything about fixing the world we live in, because there’s no glory in that, so all they focus on is armed revolution and collapse. They see Trump and MAGA as a good thing, because it will being about collapse of the American Empire faster.

I will never understand people who think the only way to build a better world is to destroy the one they have.

So you’re wanting a return to some status quo, and don’t understand why progressive people would reject your conservatism.

Without radical change, we’ll experience climate collapse. There’s no way to avoid that by straddling the middle.

No they aren’t looking for “status quo” they are looking for an improvement on the status quo and not willing to throw the dice to gamble that what replaces a burned down system would be any better. Or not even much worse. Because given the disproportionate input of the moneyed class it would almost definitely be worse.

This. You burn the system down, you create a power vacuum, and if that’s how you want to enact change, you better be damn sure you’re coming out on top.

Probably doesn’t make a difference to the people dying under both administrations. A preference is admission that your prioritizing the comfort you’ll enjoy under one of them.

So you’re wanting a return to some status quo,

Absolutely not. I have no idea where you got that from.

Without radical change, we’ll experience climate collapse. There’s no way to avoid that by straddling the middle.

Radical change doesn’t always involve burning everything down. Believe it or not, there are more options than “do nothing” and “destroy everything”.
