I waded I to this knowing nothing about the context, and while I still believe he was at fault for not following rules, I appreciate everyone’s thoughts on his actions in the bigger picture.
Popularity is good for the game and Carlsen has the most of it atm. I’d say Carlsen lost nothing and the organization lost potential popularity.
