2 things, (both visible in the image):

  1. Right clicking now has the option “copy without site tracking” greyed out, and
  2. the context menu has an “Add Youtube” option.

Anyone know how to get rid of either, or preferably both behaviours? Ie: I want to be able to ‘copy without site tracking’ and get rid of the ‘add youtube’ prompt.

the “add” prompt is built-in browser behaviour. it detected a search field, so it gives you the option to bookmark it. the button can be removed with css, but AFAIK it only comes up when right-clicking a search field anyway, so not really a big deal.

as to why the copy without tracking is greyed out, dunno maybe the link has no tracking info? what do you get when copying?

copying is same. It used to be that the option was available, even in cases where tracking didn’t appear to be present, but I’m no expert.

Yeah, the copy link behaviour was recently updated to be greyed out if no tracking parameters could be removed. You used to get the same result as the “Copy link” button, so the behaviour is otherwise the same, it’s just that you have to click the “Copy link” button now (and you know in advance if it’s going to do anything).

Youtube rarely adds tracking to its urls. I think there is none in your case
