I’m really not sure where to begin with this one, so I’m just going to lay it out and then try to explain later: A recent update to Zenless Zone Zero made it impossible to get a good look at character’s asses, and the blowback was so fierce developer MiHoYo reverted the change less than a day later.

Nothing about that comment had anything to do with trans people. He was talking about literal perverts. Not trans individuals. As indicated by his qualifier of “non-zero number of people” – clearly referring to someone with the intent of using the rules in their favor, while not being a part of that class of individuals.
This is an incidence of someone basically going “And the murder weapon was a cast iron pan!!”, and someone random in the crowd yelling “WHY ARE YOU TARGETTING ME!!??!” even though nobody suspected them in the first place.

This is an incredibly bad-faith argument. He was talking about trans women, using intentionally obfuscating language. You know that. I know that. Everyone knows that. Stop trying to defend the indefensible.
It was blatantly transphobic.
