          Through a collegial organ and not directly. Essentially the same system.

          I would prefer as well to have direct elections for all positions in the EU but I think that would scare too much the politians.

          Can you imagine a german campaigning in Spain or a greek in Austria?

            Yes, I can imagine a german campaining in spain. I listen to greek politicians all the time.

            Seriously, Ursula insisted on having her own flat inside the commission where she enjoy immunity and cannot get searched for her multiple corruption case.

            The commission have zero democratic legitimacy.

          Hello for Portugal!

          We could some lobbyists down here. Especially on the environmental front. But, then again, nobody really knows or understands how this country works, so… maybe it is for the better.

            Im a registered lobbyist (in another EU country). I cant afford to buy any politicians, nor have the faintest cloue how your system works but Im willing to come over and chill in your milder climate.
