Riding a motorcycle is already risky enough without adding obscured vision to the equation. That’s where the Bikerguard is designed to come in. It’s a visor wiper that can be attached to just about any motorcycle helmet to swipe away the rain.

I’ve never have issues with water on the outside of motorcycle helmets that have had water repellant coating on them.
For me, condensation and a foggy visor (on the inside) was a major PITA as the temperatures got colder.
Fogging has definitely been a bigger problem than rain, though I’ve only been in strong rain maybe twice and not at highway speeds so I may lack experience.
If it’s a strong rain then I would just park the bike and wait when possible. It’s already difficult with a car, wouldn’t want to risk it in a bike. But yeah if you are going slow in residential area then not as risky other than lack of visibility.
