This may be a new election but the former president and his allies are already pushing the same old lies from 2020.

Tuesday’s election is shaping up to be one of the closest races anyone has seen in U.S. history. Polls nationally and in the key states show a dead heat between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

People in what we used to call a reality-based community understand that this is a very tight race in a closely divided country and it could go either way, but the story on the right is … not that.

For a while now, the story on the right has been that Trump is cruising to victory and that he’s way ahead.

According to conservative media, Trump is set to win next week’s election by a landslide. Guests on Fox News are predicting the former president will win every swing state and host Greg Gutfeld already declared the election over, “Donald Trump’s got this.”

      Only 4 years?

I’ve known this was coming since the DNC first shafted Bernie and promoted Trump as an “easy target” for Clinton in 2015.

When listening to pundits on cable opinion shows, you hear a lot of confusion as to why the orange turd is saying these incendiary things daily instead of appealing to moderate voters in various demographics. “Why is his campaign doing this?!?!?”

Well, he’s not appealing to swing voters because he preemptively needs his base hyped up and ready to burn the whole house down. In his mind it doesn’t matter who votes for what. He just needs it close. Let Roger Stone and chaos take care of the rest.

I’m voting today. Make sure you do so in the next week.

No! Tuesday! 4 days away. You don’t have a week. You’ve barely got half of a week. And half of those days are the weekend.

I voted a week ago. Apparently that was a smart move, because my friends who voted this week have been saying the lines are looooooooooong. Which is a good problem to have, IMHO. Love that people are voting early.

My SO and I voted today! First time doing it in person since I don’t trust drop boxes and mail-ins given the MAGA shenanigans.

this is like the outcome when you play chess against a pigeon. Sure you win, but the pigeon still shits on the board like a winner.

trump will claim he got 500 billion votes and kamala got negative one gajillion bajillion, and that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who’s been conscious at any point over the last 10 years

    Of course he will.

He’s a narcissist, nothing is important except that he’s the best one, the winner, …

He doesn’t care, he just want to “win”.

However, he was financially ruined following a failed bid in December 1852 to corner the rice market during a shortage prompted by a famine in China. He bought a shipload of Peruvian rice at 12 cents per pound (26 ¢/kg), but more Peruvian ships arrived in port, causing the price to drop sharply to three cents per pound (6.6 ¢/kg). He then lost a protracted lawsuit in which he tried to void his rice contract, and his local prominence faded.

        Sounds like trump all right.

I bet a handful of comedians plus some fake newswriters could make him disappear from the news & election cycle quite effectively.

He already started, saying PA is cheating… It isn’t even election day and the fuckery has already began, I am terrified of the outcome if he “wins”.
