one of the most impressive feats of coding i have ever seen in recent years, everything is made from scratch and just, just wow ya know?

I always love this kinda stuff. Reminds me of when a new console would come out before people pushed the limits and comparing the graphics of release titles and later ones. Like the difference between Halo 1 and Halo 2 is ridiculous when you consider they were for the same console. Like them or not, Nintendo has always been good about performance over graphics. Their games can look dated when comparing them to other consoles at the time, but they never had major performance issues.
most of that is true, however nintendos consoles before the wii where all about being beefy
especially the gamecube which outperformed the ps2 quite a bit
for the wii tho the bets example is super mario galaxy, great performance and a timeless look
Yeah, I think it’s also really cool, but it’s firmly in the realm of “novelty” for me. As in, I think it’s cool, but I probably wouldn’t spend more than 20 min or so playing it because the graphics are a bit too rough.
That said, this is fantastic work, and the game appears to run smoothly.
