I was in Sydney during one of the union strikes when the CFMEU was getting attacked for 1/100th the level of corruption the LNP got away with. Glad to see there is still solidarity. Unions seem hit or miss in Australia but the overall consensus seems to be pro rather than anti which is a plus.
Unfortunately some Socialists instituted a strong professional and volunteer emergency service decades back and the Liberals haven’t gutted it yet.

In Queensland the SES was established by Bjelke-Petersen in the 70s and was moved this year to the police agency by Labor
