I know I’m not alone feeling like this when I try to explain to friends what communism really is, and how it could free us from exploitation and save the planet from climate catastrophe.
But… car go vroom vroom when capitalism… how car go vroom vroom if no capitalism? /s

I explain it this way. Our transportation systems are like our veins and arteries. And cars are clogging them with the shittiest cholesterol available.
“We should change how we do things so we don’t die”:
- extreme
- idealistic
- naive
- Authoritarian
“The Market will save us”:
- balanced
- rational
- mature
- Freedomy
The problem with communism is people are inherently greedy. Look at China and Russia. There are still economic classes and the poor are still insanely poor, but the rich are crazy rich. The problem with capitalism is people are chickens and don’t let things fail so there are no consequences in doing stupid stuff. Also, the consumers are idiots. All of them suck, let’s go anarchy!!!
