The HMNZS Manawanui - a specialist dive and hydrographic vessel - was conducting a reef survey when it hit the reef on Saturday night.
Reef successfully surveyed. Results: it’s there.

Well, it was… That ship is going to release so many hydrocarbons, the reef may not survive.
Feel bad for the crew, but damn I love that succinct punchy headline.
