Into what should be a black and white area. Idk about Ryujinx’s development specifically, but reverse engineering of products is protected. Should be legally fine if they didn’t steal any code or whatever… but as always, the law doesn’t apply to the wealthy, and capitalist “competition” has always been a farce.
Since Nintendo is the Disney of the video game world it will get a pass for being little copyright monsters by legions of Disneytendo Adults.
“Disneytendo” adults are the ones who complain the most about this sort of shit from Nintendo. I don’t know where this idea that the Nintendo user base will hear no criticism of the infallible Miyamoto & co comes from.
