The constant text badgering and YouTube ads for donations is really irritating. And yeah, they tend to do this doomer vibe to get pity dollars.
The funniest one is the Harris ad on YouTube with Bernie. The Obama and Harris ones look slick and got that pep. The Bernie one looks like it was shot on a ten year old smartphone, it’s got a plain curtain backdrop, and it’s got the vibe of a hostage video where they’re talking about how great the conditions are but you can tell there’s a guy with an AK-47 just off screen.
